Escalators are moving stairs which are commonly used in buildings with multiple floors where human traffic is huge. Steps are located on a rotating mechanism to have continous movement. They can carry more people compared to the elevators. Commonly preferred in shopping centers, business centers, metro and train stations, hotels, airports, hospitals and exhibition centers.
Moving walkways which have similar structure with escalators are commonly used to carry people and lightweight wares in incline places with the help of a plain surface platform. They are commonly used in places which has huge person traffic like metro and train stations, airports and sopping centers.
Escalators and moving walkways make transportation easier on both vertical and horizontal places.
